It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance.
While I'm not completely familiar with OSClass as an application, since I'm not a PHP developer, I am familiar with multiple ways of doing web development in Python. However, I don't believe that Django is the right tool for the job. There are better web frameworks for Python that I consider far superior to Django due to less complexity and quicker development time. I can still develop your application using Django, but in my opinion as a Python developer of about 3 years, Flask would probably be better suited to your needs. Flask is generally more permissive in what you can and cannot do with it due to the way that it is designed, and has tons of extensions and features that make development much quicker and easier. The design of Flask is much less intricate and a lot of the annoying features of Django (like dealing with migrations) can be automated away from the developer.
Let me know what you think, I'm happy to develop with whatever framework you deem necessary. Message me on Freelancer if you have any questions about my previous projects, familiarity with each web framework, or anything else that comes to mind.
