Report on File Transfer

Scenario ======== You have a client that has an urgent requirement to transfer sensitive files to a 3rd party. Due to the urgency the client is insisting on email transfers. Assignment: 1) Report the risks associated to the proposed design (email trasnfer). Use the Industry Threat Risk Assessment Matrix. The report should be simple and clear enough to address the risk associated and a conclusion on why not to use such a solution. (No more then 2 pages) 2) Prepare a report on options for a more secure solution - remember the Client’s urgency [login to view URL] report should consider different options and do the cost benefit analysis of each solution. It should then derive to a solution which is secure and can meet the Client’s urgency. (No More then 4 pages) Specifically attention should be paid to the underlying risks and to a secure solution, when writing the report. Preference: Some with the following background : architect, security or CISSP
