We're looking for someone intimately familiar with Siebel 7.5. Knowledge of Actuate (to create Siebel reports) would be a plus, but is not strictly necessary. We have a list of modifications that we need made to our Siebel installation. Many can be made using straight Siebel Tools; however, some will require some VB scripting, and some will require the creation or editing of workflows. Additionally, there are some administrative tasks within Siebel proper we need performed. The scope of work depends on the skills of the coder we select; in your bid please specify your capabilities. There is the potential to establish a protracted working arrangement for future modifications to our Siebel environment. The work can be performed remotely using Terminal Services, so you are not required to have a copy of Siebel yourself. Below is an overview of the major modifications we're looking to have done. The specific changes can be discussed upon the acceptance of a bid. - Buttons to quickly count and calculate the records in a given view. - Creation / editing / removal of about 40 fields throughout the application in different business components. - Renaming existing fields to match business processes. - Setting up screens & views to access the web interface from a PDA. - Creation of reports in actuate; additionally, installation and set up of actuate reports which is currently non functional. - Running Siebel deduplication and territory assignment. - Creation of a workflow to attach bcc emails to a contact record. Additionally, once you are familiar with our environment any suggestions you have for further improvements which could be made to our system would be welcome and could be incorporated into future work arrangements.

We are three expert Siebel developers (5 years Siebel experience and Siebel 7 certified). Skills of the Siebel experts: Expert 1: Siebel Tools/Configuration, eScript, VB Scripting, EAI, Workflows, Analytics Expert 2: Siebel Tools/Configuration, VB Scripting, Assignment Manager, Wofkflows Expert 3: Siebel Tools/Configuration, VB Scripting, eScript, Server Administration, Workflows. We have been working on offshore model for long now. One of the experts has worked on the largest implementation of Siebel in UK as Technical Architect and other 2 are on the same assignment as expert developers. The requirements mentioned are pretty simple wrt difficulty level as changing the Buscomp field names is not difficult but tricky. A lot of testing is required afterwards to ensure things have not broken anywhere. Even predefined queries need to be changed according to the BusComp Field name changes apart from the key changes (Links/Applets/MVG Fields referred in other BC etc.. ) But the scope of the application is not clearly known and hence difficult to convey the budget. Depending on the finalization of the requirements the bid can lie anywhere between $2000 to $3000. To gurantee confidence concerning the quality and effective delivery: Pay only after you are satisfied with the delivery of the product. This is for you to gain confidence and for us to start a long time relationship. Need to know the scope and time frames within which the developments are required to be delivered. Will be very much interested in extended working arrangement after the successful delivery of the first assignment. Need to know the Entry criteria, if the final requirements and application implementaion details (Size of Application). Also, The level of testing required to determine the Exit criteria should be known to ensure effective delivery/handover.
