Hi, I have a lot of experience in jewellery modelling, working on many projects for a local NZ jeweller. Most of these are under NDA however if you are interested I can enquire about sharing some images with you. Depending on the detail you are able to supply, and the complexity of the rings, they generally take 1 -3 hours to model. Rendering is typically 1/2 hr if i have a lot to do, 1 hr if there is only one to be done. please have a look at my portfolio where you will find many examples of my other work. regards Matt

Hi, I found your project very interesting, as I wrote 3dsmax tutorial on making jewelry renderings some years ago and it can be tricky to achieve good results and all faults are automatically visible. My estimation is that it is needed minimum 4 hours for good model, at start it will probably needed more time to make unique environment and gems but on 10 models the time can be compensate. so it will be 40 hours so basically one week and renderings are around 2 working days. In this pilot we can see how it will work but I think at the end that 30 models per monthly basis is quite possible. The most important thing is to have actual measurements. I work in 3ds Max and in PhotoShop also I am certified Autodesk Professional. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me.

I am an experienced 3D Modelling Animator and Jewellery Expert. I have a large library of designed rings, and there are ring that are similar to these ones You have posted, so this job could be finished quickly. Also, I have a few questions about the project. I saw that you have posted 10 rings, but 2 of them looks the same except the render (color of the gold). Is that the only difference or there are more differences? Should the design be done by using only these pictures, or there will be some more? Best regards, Milan
