3D Game Graphics - Architecture and Modeling of a residential tower building

Seeking an experienced professional game graphics designer to deliver a 3D model in FBX format. The result model shall be realistic high quality residential tower/skyscraper (based on the blueprint to be provided), The building must be explorable inside. The graphics work is required to develop a game where user can navigate in explore buildings made in Unity3d game engine. For the scope of this project, one building needs to be designed from the interior and exterior. Blueprints will be provided. All graphics must be realistically textured. There should be two versions graphics file exports: high resolution and low resolution to accommodate PC/Mobile display respectively over internet. Requirements: - Must be able to make 3D buildings based on architectural blueprint plans - Extensive 3D knowledge including and not limited to making efficient optimized like-real objects such as furniture, food, home appliances, home electronics or any kind of non-living object in either lowpoly or high-poly - Extensive 2D graphics knowledge including and not limited to making efficient and optimized great looking textures with appropriatly applied UVs, shading technics, textures/materials combinations, perfect tiling when supposed to be tiled etc. - Knowledge of Unity3D, no scripting is required, but an extensive knowledge of the engine's editor functionalities is a MUST have - Able to make a clean good looking scene in Unity3D following the standards workflow from importing the assets to final rendering - Can deal with shading techniques in Unity3D such as applying reflective shaders, cubemaps, transparency, light cookies, halo and whatsoever - Able to make wonderful rendering using baked light using either Unity's native one or a 3rd party such as Vray or Mental-ray - Familiar with the available Unity3D's post processing (image effects components) for antialiasing or contrast or whatsoever - General knowledge of devices limitations regarding polycount, drawcalls, texture sizes, LODs, image effects and so on, if you're asked to make 10 objects in a scene view, you must be able to decide the best mix between quality and effitiency of the objects by checking Unity3D's stats and predict your limitations for possible eventual additions. - Must be available full time for this project and willing to commit to project deliverable deadlines set. In order for to be concidered, you need to attach a work sample as follows: - A Unity3D scene (project/package) similar to the content of this video [login to view URL] - You can use Unity3D's native meshes for walls and simple cubique objects to expedite some of work required - A couple of objects for decoration such as sofa or chair or whatever must be delivered with 2 LODs both more or less as good looking as the video demo (the lowpoly shouldnt be crappy, a great shading/lighting techniques will solve that) - Any other relevant Unity3D scenes of previous work is a plus - Character modeling and animation with Unity3D's workflow standards is a plus. - The capacity of designing and creating User Interfaces is a plus, no scripting is required, just the graphical elements to be provided. - Must be a good communicator, update of progress from daily to twice per week max - Available to communicate on Skype - Fluent in English or French
