Marketing Manager

Global {M} is a London based agency specialising in technology recruitment. We work globally - Across MENA Europe and APAC; and place talented technologists into some of the world’s most innovative businesses. Since starting in 2012 we have done business in 10 countries across 4 continents and continue to grow our global candidate and client base rapidly. We approach recruitment from a different angle than other agencies - we’ve moved away from the traditional model, but retained the personal commitment. Through offering training and events we hope to add value to every candidate and client we work with. Events has become a significant part of our marketing strategy and we organise tech meetups and workshops in London and internationally. In 2016 we will be hosting events in Europe, Dubai, Lebanon and South Africa, the themes for which will range from disruptive tech to entrepreneurship to hiring and retaining talent. We are looking for an experienced marketing manager to join our team on a part time basis for 3-6 months. Your challenge will be to help us refine our brand and align all of our marketing channels. Our ideal candidate will have experience in the following fields: - Extensive experience in event management/sponsorship - Expertise in marketing analytics and altering strategy according to results - Marketing & branding strategy - Previous experience in social media planning - Training and coaching junior staff - Significant experience in a technology marketing capacity (partnered closely with product management and/or engineering to represent market requirements and with sales to support product launches) - Previous background in online advertising - Expertise and thorough understanding of the needs of the largest technology companies - Solid team leadership experience - Strong quantitative analytical ability and excellent written and oral communication skills - Experience launching or scaling business requirements with international teams/agencies or launching products in emerging markets.
