Hello I am working a react native project that needs to issue commands using the microphone to perform some actions in the app such as navigation between screens ..etc. I am using google cloud speech to text API, I need some to build this part only using fresh react native project, the app should listen to the microphone (all the time) and use the speech-to-text API to return the text listened to, then perform the action based on that text returned by the API please note that the requirements here is streaming audio NOT transcribing an audio file, meaning that the audio to transcribe is coming from the microphone NOT from a local audio file. Google cloud is good for that but you may use Amazon or IBM cloud if you prefer that. I need someone who has a good experience in speech to Text technology and implement it in react native. Hello, There are 2 ways of doing this: 1. Keyword base and simple Here we will monitor special words mentioned like 'navigate to dashboard' here the keywords are navigate and dashboard, when both such words occur together we can change screen. But in this implementation, if someone says 'dashboard some random words navigate, that too will trigger changing screen to dashboard. 2. Intent classification (complex but better human interactions and will take longer time to build) In this, we will need to collect different samples of what the users might say to navigate to dashboard (for ex): go to dashboard, show me dashboard etc. This will need to be done for all such screens/actions. So once the speech is converted into text, it will check with intent classifier to find the appropiate action. If you need more clarifications, let me know. Regards, Samiran
