A currently used SSH method along with SFTP function may help. Code editing from windows with clean editor.

I'm also from India. I'm using the same set up to ssh into the remote machine through my windows machine and can able to do the code change from the machine. Or I can have the IDE set up to directly push your code into the EC2 server. We can have a chat or call to discuss further.
