Hi, I need to develop an app for digital signage based on Chrome OS. Similar to this [login to view URL], basic needs are as follow: • Based on Chrome OS • Can be used offline • Can be used on local network (server based) • Can be used on all Chroem OS hardware (players) like Chromebit by asus, chromebox commercial by Aopen. • Display HTML pages • Display JPEGS (with transitions like fade, flash, ...) • Display movies (mp4) • Creation of playlists • Schedule of contents/playlists • Management dashboard (monitoring, updates, uploads,…) Typical case of use would be: Installed on a server (Internet or local), the user is able to manage his network of players (connected to a LCD display) and monitor the health of the network, are all players online, up to dates, what content are they playing,…. using a Web browser. He is able to upload files on the server, and create playlists with these files, to be displayed on one or a group of players (connected to a LCD display). He will be able to schedule content in advance, and set start dates and end dates for playlists, and choose what playlist will play on which player or group of players. The user will have a great experience using the app, as it will be simple to use, and user friendly.
