Dear Valerie,
I have a very small transcription service myself, which is named Rhema and Logos Transcription.
It's a very competitive market due to voice recognition; therefore, it's hard to find a transcriptionist who is willing to advise someone who may be "competition" for the extremely limited market. However, as a Christian, I believe that I will get the jobs that I'm supposed to get; and that, in the meantime, I'm to help others whenever I can. I've provided encouragement and advice to one other woman (from Canada) with a small transcription business who could get no answers to her questions in an online transcription discussion group of which we were both members because everyone else saw her as competition.
I would be willing to help you in your start-up by providing one month (30 days) of consultant services for a fee of $90 (the bid comes through at $100 due to Freelancer fees).
These services would include:
1) Helping you select a versatile digital transcription program.
2) Helping you find an unused domain name (extremely important).
3) Helping you set up a website, a Linked In page, and a Facebook page for your business.
4) Helping you design a brochure.
5) Suggesting other marketing strategies that I've used.
Thank you for considering my bid. Whether you choose to avail my experience-based consultant services or not, I truly wish you the very best in your endeavor.
Sincerely,
Jean Kuzon
