Wordpress Site Customization

Project Overview: Our company owns an existing web property built on wordpress that needs updates and fixes to theme and functionality. In addition, we have launched a very basic implementation of WooCommerce for an ecommerce component that is functional, but needs to be customized for sales of our basic product set (unit & parts), as well as implementing a leasing option for our product using a combination of: existing WooCommerce functionality, third party plugins, and custom code. The timeframe for this project is estimated duration of 3 weeks, so close communication with our existing technical and marketing teams will be necessary. To be considered for the project we will need proven prior experience and successful execution of similar endeavors relating to this project's components. (see below) and an online portfolio/reference sites. Project Components: Assess current site health and usability: Assess Outline recommendations Implement agreed upon fixes Suggested additions/removals for plug-ins Optimize site performance and plugins including disabling or installing recommendations once the review is complete and scope agreed to. Fixes and Enhancements to Theme and Functionality: Apply CSS changes with direction from marketing staff to update site look and feel as needed. Review site/theme/functionality and assess health, making recommendations to improve speed, ease of use and responsiveness. Meet with team to review new copy and imagery to apply as directed by marketing staff Upgrade site search functionality through new plugin and/or custom coding. Upgrade site mapping with new plugin and/or custom coding. Create and/or assist is page / content creation. WooCommerce Customization: Review implementation and make recommendations. Update checkout look and feel inline with best practices. Update the look and feel of ajax mini cart. Establish a framework and consult with the team to prep site for parts store sales. Add a contact/chat now component to the site Product Leasing component: Allow for a down payment and automatic monthly payments over the course of the lease term. Allow for leasing terms acceptance via eSignature and distribution of the leasing doc to all parties via email or download/import (Local Machine, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) Customer Login for account management Username password change Billing Statements Changes in billing preference Communication with our AM/Financial team (contact us) Lease to own capabilities Requirements: A written plan for implementation and costs: Project Hours Rate per Hour Estimated Software/Plugins needed and their costs post assessment Project Timeline: Start, End, and Milestones All work will be done in a dev environment and pushed to the production environment after QA by our tech and marketing teams or based upon written mutual agreement.
