I have a script created on freelancer.com about 10 days ago which has stopped working and the user who created it is not responding. I need help getting the script working again. What the script does is: Replaces a small portion of a URL string with a website users referral source. For example if the use comes from a PPC ad, the source will show as "adwords", if from google organic it will show as "[login to view URL]", if from facebook it will show [login to view URL], etc. Everything seems to be working but users that come from an adwords ad. It is coming up as google organic. This should take you very long as the code is done.

Hi, I know what is causing the issue and I can help you rectify it, the user who created the script didn't know how to differentiate between Google Ads and Google Organic traffic so the issue. We can use the presence of gclid to identify Google PPC traffic.., I'm assuming you want to track this info in Google Analytics, then why aren't you using UTM parameters instead of writing a script?
