I am using the AllVideoShare component on my site and it comes with a search module. The module natively searches all videos (across all categories)... I need the module customized so that I can specify which category(ies) I want an instance of the module to search- That way I can place different instances of the module within different categories and when a user searches, they only get results from within the category they're in.

Hello, I suppose you mean customizing the module through the administrator backend. This is something that can be done in a few hours by someone who has been working with Joomla modules and components for years. The only problem is that you may not be able to update that module in the future. What I'd need from you is a copy of the AllVideoShare component. This is because I want to know how the video categories are stored in the database, and how they related to the videos table. Those categories would have to appear on the module, so you can specify which one you want users to search. Kind regards, Pedro Carbonell
