The SHOTSbar app is currently live on iOS and Android. It uses [url removed, login to view] software for all the main features. Some pages are hosted through the backend Dezdy CMS section where we can create basic HTML pages. We use these pages for our weekly specials and event calendar for example.
We recently opened a new location in Orlando. Therefore, we need to be able to show weekly specials and event calendars by city. We want something quick and simple. Dezdy CMS pages can run Java script.
We want the user to select "Weekly Specials" from the main menu that already exists. Instead of jumping straight to a page, the user should be forced to select Miami or Orlando. After a city is selected, they should see the respective weekly specials. We will continue to update the specials through the Dezdy CMS pages.
We want to accomplish something similar with the event calendars as far as the flow goes. However, once the user selects a city, the system should automatically synch with the event calendar for the respective cities' facebook page.
For Miami: [url removed, login to view]
For Orlando: [url removed, login to view]
We have confirmed with the developer at Dezdy that this is technically possible through java script calls as these pages do have some other limitations.
Our website, [url removed, login to view] runs on WordPress. Currently, we update the events calendar and weekly specials through the wordpress backend adding yet another step to when we update things. Ideally, our event calendars and weekly specials would also synch with everything so we can update in one place and have everything else up to date instantly.
Miami subpage : [url removed, login to view]
Orlando subpage : [url removed, login to view]
The app can be downloaded so you can get a better idea of what I am talking about. All testing will need to be done thoroughly on your side as the app is live.
