You need a program that does mathematical operations/formulas to calculate the total amount of calories in that recipe. Given that recipe and you have the formulas, would I need information in how much calories are in one ingredient of that recipe? I would say that the simplest way to do this is with an Excel sheet with given inputs and outputs. Inputs would be user writing the amount of calories in one ingredient * quantity of the item = total calories of that ingredient. Let me know if you want me working for you and as always, you can even be more specific onto the requirement at hand.
