My name is Kim Lynch. I was a director and graphics director of The Reef Multimedia in Melbourne. I am writing in the hope you may be able to fix one of the last sites I made with a programmer who has since thrown in the towel. The site was made with ModX six years ago and has been hacked. I have explained to the client she will need an upgrade, her version of ModX is obsolete. I am not making websites these days, I am a graphic artist. My question is, can you supply a short term fix to get her on the air again? And give her a quote for an upgrade? To restore the backup log in to the cPanel go to R1soft option and follow the link below to restore the files. [login to view URL] Once restored, you will have take help of developer to find out the loop holes in the scripts and close them. Restrict the admin access to your website ( I believe you have installed "modx" opensource module ) and upgrade the packages. Make sure to clear out any entries in databases and the scripts that are not needed.
