Make script for injecting text in video files on server using ffmpeg and libavfilter/drawtext A logged in user chooses to create a personal copy of a certain video title. The original video is stored on the server in 5 to 10 parts. You create a script that injects text in the first part of each part and after that it merges all the parts into one large video file and this video file is stored in a user specific directory. - the parts have to be written to disk, not stored in RAM. The final video is written to disk as well, not to RAM. - the source parts are mp4/x264 and will be uploaded by me by FTP and will be logically named. If necessary for your script I can specify the amount of parts per video title in a database. - the final video will be named [login to view URL] - In the first part the username will be injected - In the following parts a code fetched from database will be injected - Make font and size globally adjustable - Make duration for first part globally adjustable - Make duration of following parts globally adjustable - Make font color, transparency and text position adjustable per part per title. I can store values for this in a database. - I am choosing to work with 5 to 10 source video parts here because I assume libavfilter can not inject text at mulitiple places inside a video. If it can do that and it will not take a lot of more processing time, make your scripts work with one video source file and let it inject text at 5 to 10 different places inside the resulting copy. You will first create this on your own server, I will provide you with the video files for testing. You will start with injecting username in one video file, to be sure we are on the same page and you are capable of creating this. After that you will complete the project by injecting text in following parts, and merging these parts into one large video. When everything works you will first copy everything to my website and make it work there, after that you will integrate your scripts with the existing scripts and database and functionality of my current site.
