Javascript / SVG Room Planner Web App

I need to build a web based application along the lines of the Roomle app ([login to view URL]), except it will be much more simplified (one room only, 2D only, no Flash, small number of room objects, no drag and drop/zoom, etc...). Essentially it needs to be a way of visualising how a small number of furniture objects would fit into a room. It needs to be built in HTML / Javascript and use SVG images to generate each room plan. I am anticipating the project will require use of AngularJS, AJAX and JSON to manage the loading and saving of room / object data to a database. I have a rough specifications document at the moment that outlines how I envisage that the app will work, so once I have shortlisted some applicants I will send this document to discuss the project further before hiring someone. So, the basic tasks / requirements that I will need for the room planner will be: • Use email address to create a user account • Manage multiple room plans per user • Load an existing room plan • Share / print a room plan – Generate an SVG / PNG image • Create a new room plan – This will be either rectangular or L-shaped • Add wall features – For example doors, windows, fireplace and openings • Add custom furniture objects – These will be either a square, rectangle or a circle with a flat colour • Add furniture products from the shop catalogue – These will already be generated as SVG files, but will carry additional data such as the Product ID or SKU, URL to the product details, the current price, etc… • View a shopping list of furniture products used in the plan. • Auto save the plan every few minutes. • History of changes to the plan (to allow an Undo / Redo button) • Save the plan as a new version or overwrite an existing plan. • Needs to work fully on an iPad / tablet (i.e. same functionality as desktop) and be viewable on an iPhone / mobile device (i.e. view plan or shopping list but not edit plans).
