BigBlueButton - Java screen sharing - add remote control option

We have a BigBlueButton server We want to make this project open and commited to the BigBlueButton project - option 1 We are wanting to add to the current java applet that is inside bigbluebutton for screen sharing and what we want to add is the abliity to give specific users inside the conference the ability to not just view the screenshare but also click / right click / move mouse.. basically remote control - option 2 The other option is create a completely new APP using HTML5 or another java application that would allow specific conference attendees to control the screen share using some sort of remote control. if option 2 is the method there are a few constraints that must be met... while only specific users can move the mouse pointer using remote control everyone in the conference must be able to still see what is going on in the conference. All code must be able to be committed to [login to view URL] and also contributor contracts must be signed from BigBlueButton.
