A number of applications which deliver reporting analysis through SQL queries need to be upgraded from current database firebird 2.05 dialect 1 to firebird database 2.5 dialect 3. Comparisons of current structure will be required, identification of alterations to tables, fields, relationships and procedures. Existing code will need to altered to connect to new dialect and all queries must be tested and altered to verify data

Dialect 1 to Dialect 3 changes are mostly about DATE and DATETIME / TIMESTAMP fields. It will involve checking code and making changes to ensure everything works correctly. Hi there , I'm delphi coder actually used to code database driven applications using the latest engines like FireDac,UniDac,ADO,Zeos,DbExpress and so forth wotking with the most famous RDBMS like MYSQL,SQLSERVER,FIREBIRD,ACCESS,INTERBASE and so forth working with both ANSI and UNICODE well reagarding to your project we can use either new FireBird Drivers or BuilTin engines with delphi anyway just Provide me with more information and I will do my best ^^ Best Regards
