Project: Web Survey Application Technology/architecture: - Flash front-end for the interviewees (flash mx 2004: compatibility issues with flash 8?) - XML communication: PHP-engine Flash Front-end - PHP engine on linux/freebsd - Web based admin section: to setup clients - Web based client section: to setup and send surveys and personalized mail - Smarty or any other common logic layout separator - MySQL database ( + database abstraction layer) - Extra ( don’t forget to quote this supplement in bid comment ): AJAX front-end with same functionality as Flash front-end Requirements for survey application: - Routed surveys - Possible answers: sentence, textarea, multiple choice, single choice, rating (0-n), matrix questions, picture rating, flash movie rating, … - Layout customisable for each survey: upload logo, change colors,… - Use previous survey as template - Linked surveys ( translated ): option to switch to your language for interviewee - Insert list of interviewee’s in groups ( sirnaam, forename, company, adres, mail adres, and a few extra ones for later: var1, var2, … ) - Rich text editor in web based client section to setup mail to all invitees: use of variables ( inserted via buttons -> %%mail%% ) - Option to setup mails in simple txt (and html): for older mail clients - Mail address correctness checker: mx record exists? Adheres to standard mail format? For manual adjustments. - Mail dry run, Preview mails of random invitees - Sent 1 carbon copy to admin mail of each survey, and 1 carbon copy to client mail of his surveys - Web Based admin & client section easy translatable (prefer file above sql) - Check whether invitee answered filled in survey - Welcome and thank you message: rich text editor -> displayed in flash - Interviewee/invitee can stop survey and start survey at later time where he left it - New group can be created from invitees who didn’t answer -> new survey - Status bar of survey ( On/Off in web based survey client ) - Each answer should be sent separate to PHP engine - Export DATA in csv/excel - Graphs: pie charts, … - Clean flash interface (no FLASH FLASH) - PHP mail functions: sufficient for lots of recipients? - Extensively commented source - Non computer people should be able to use the system (setup, send and export the surveys) after a few hours of training - Adjustments and extra’s to your current source base for this project cannot be sold further to other clients. We also need all source codes of the system and the guarantee that the system is our property. We need to be able to communicate on a daily basis (mail, google talk) and need to see regular updates of the system on your server. Please only bid if you have experience in this field.
