Need simple Android demo created that calls web service

I need a Google Android developer to create a simple demonstration app that can call a web service with one argument and get the results back and display them. The app can use ksoap2 and I have links to examples. ## Deliverables This is not a finished, polished app, just one that establishes the functionality I need. It looks like I may have to cancel this project since it depends on a feature that Android doesn't seem to have. I tried a T-Mobile G1 and a user can't highlight and copy part of the text of an incoming email message. My solution depends on the ability to send snippets of text to my web service. If anyone has any information about this please let me know. Otherwise I will cancel in a few days. Thanks!
