Javascript process detection

This project is to develop a means to supply a list of active processes to a Javascript function. At a minimum, an array is to be returned with the image name and description of every running process on a windows system. The web user will arrive at a page. If the plug in / client side program is already installed, it will be called via javascript to retrieve the list of running processes. We will then use that information, for example to recommend and anti virus program if none is running, redirect the user to a special page if they have spyware, etc... If the plug in / client side program is not installed, the user should get the standard browser message about additional plug ins being needed, then prompted to install it. ## Deliverables The final solution may include plug ins that the user must install. If so, those plug ins must be provided in versions for both IE and Firefox. Any plug ins are to be properly signed to prevent warnings when installing. The solution must support the Windows operating system. Preference will be given to bids that also offer solutions for Mac and Linux platforms.
