Drupal based parcel tracking system for courier company

We are building a parcel tracking system for a courier company who have specific business requirements. We have already designed the entire system on the user/admin level as well as the expected database structure and requires a coder to build it. The coder is expected to go through our current design document and provide suggestion on improvements/changes where appropriate to make the system work better. We are building this system on top of Drupal, could be based on Drupal 6 or 7. We have tendency to prefer Drupal 6 due to its proven stability and larger number of exisiting modules that this system can call upon to use. The coder is expected to provide technical design documentation of the system and source code, such that someone else can continue development on this system in the future. The entire system is expected to consists of several Drupal modules which will function together as a system, similar to Ubercart. It is important that these individual modules can be separately modified without affecting the system because this system will later be customized to suit other clients or as an generic parcel tracking system. Some of the modules created in this project maybe open sourced to [login to view URL] under our company name but the majority will remain closed source. The successful coder who won this project have the opportunity to receive more work for us in the future, including customization of this system for other clients. During the work, the coder is expected to communicate with me directly in writting by e-mail, IM as well as voice. NDA is required before we provide the complete details of this work. Payment for this work will be made in installment according to the goals achieved. The % of payment made in installment and what stage it is paid can be negotiated. Splitting this project into smaller projects is also feasible. ## Deliverables This system consists of two parts. a) Server, i.e. Drupal based b) mobile client, Android app based This project listed here is only a request to build the Drupal, server part of the system. The mobile client, Android app will only be build after the Drupal based server is completed.
