Perl Picture Thumbnailer

I have a perl script that I bought (Over a year ago.) to do a thumbnail gallery and included in the program was a picture thumbnailer. I need to get the picture thumbnailer setup as a separate program that I can use on other websites. What it does? I place any number of full sized pictures into a folder on the server. The cgi script goes out and grabs a set number of pictures and then thumbnails them and sets them on to a page by replacing the tags on the template. It also links the thumbnails to an html page with the full picture centered. Banners or text are found above and below the full size picture. The template and the header and footer place them there. What I need is to have this part of the program separated from the thumbnail gallery. I want the script to rotate the pictures on a daily (or whatever I choose.) basis. I would also like to be able to change the number of pictures that appear on any given page and where they appear. Everything needs to be set so it can be moved from one site to another. Also the linked-to pages need to appear in shtml so I can place rotating banners at the top of the pages.
