Hello everyone,
My name is Jonathan Regan.
I'd like to thank you for reading this project description. I am just about
to begin a wide-scale "pay per click" marketing campaign, and I would
like to plenty of keywords for my search engine listings ...
======
PART 1.
======
I already have a script that extracts keywords out of the meta-tag field of
websites listed in Google under a specified term, and this works well, but
it does not understand that a "phrase" may consititute a keyword itself ...
So, instead of a phrase such as "acting ebook" being extracted from a
website, the script produces two keywords, "acting" and "ebook" which
independently, are not much good to me. So the first part of this project,
is to examine my existing script (which is very simple), and determine a
way to extract keywords as they are intended from the meta-tags of the
listings in Google. The script is a fully working version, but it just needs a
little work to output the results correctly. I would also like you to give me
an option to output the keywords, either seperately on a line each, or with
commas in between. ie - either like this
acting ebook
acting coach
acting classes
or like this ...
acting ebook, acting coach, acting classes
This script already outputs the extracted keywords, and puts them on a
seperate line each (so half the work is done). I just need the script to also
put them into comma delimited format. Ok, that is it for part one. Quality
programmers will be able to fix this script in about 20 minutes I'd say ...
=====
PART II
=====
This involves creating a script that extracts keywords from the Overture
suggestion tool - but, it should also dig a little further, to get sub listings.
Let me explain a little better. When you do a search for a term at the
Overture keyword suggestion tool, 100 results are shown, but some of
these (or all) contain sub results, if you feed the search terms back into Overture.
In other words, if you do a search for "email" it will return 100 related
terms, but you will notice that in third position, the term "free email" is
shown. I need the script to not only extract all 100 main results, but also
to then feed these results back into the Overture suggestion tool, to find
all the results listed under each of the main 100 results. I hope this is
understandable. If the script you create works perfectly, I should be able
to specify a keyterm, and then the script should output the keyterms for
the first 100 results, and all their sub results. It would be really cool if it
could keep digging as well, to pull up results from sub-results.
ie. If I perform a search for email, it grabs the top 100 results, and then
also enters each of these 100 results back into the Overture tool, to find
the 100 sub-results of each keyword. Hence the extracted keywords may
be many more than 100.
Anyway, you probably get the idea. I really want to hire a programmer
that knows what they are doing - so only bid if you think you can do this
project quickly, and with ease. I really appreciate your time, and I look
forward to hiring a coder in the next 48 hours.
Thanks and goodluck!
Cheers,
Jonathan
