This is a relatively small three part project, but they go hand in hand and we want implement at the same time. Currently our websites return story links as follows: [login to view URL] We want to retain the same page structure, but implement SEO friendly web URLS, similar to this: [login to view URL] Also we want to update a javascript news ticker we are currently using to reflect the SEO friendly URLS. This should be a matter of making a few minor changes to exisitng code. We'd also like to add the ability for the ticker to scroll, either up or across. We can provide the exisiting ticker code, as well as code currently used on our sites, providing confidentialty is assured. The third element is to create an RSS feed of our stories from the mysqyl database/php content admin that we use. Developer will need to write one set of code that we can implement on multiple sites, and it must plug in easily with existing code.

Hi, good day! I have fully understood your concern, but when you said these changes should be done in one set of code, it's not possible because, the ticke is JS changes and the URL is an .htaccess and mod_rewrite concern. There will be a sum of 3 changes. One htaccess edit, a PHP to create the NICE url that you want and of course the update to the ticker SCRIPT to make it work like you desire. For the RSS feeds, do you have a format for reference as far as the XML nodes are concerned? Hoping to hear from you. Thanks!
