Company is launching an interactive online property auction service targeted at Real Estate Agents/Estate Agents located in the UK . Properties are loaded onto the web site and bids invited over a 14day period. Successful bidder pays a buyer premium online and the company handles the sale through to completion. A number of features are to be available on the site - search criteria, one to watch, email alerts, mobile app (could be 2nd phase development) and similar. The company invested in a bespoke web site but since been advised its too advanced for the market proposition and will require costly updates as the market proposition evolves. Its been decided to abandon the current site in favour of a new build on open source - drupal possibly. Web design is at an advanced stage so will not form part of the project. There will be the opportunity for 'bolt ons' as the proposition progresses and gains momentum in the market. The company has plans to introduce a number of supportive propositions with separate web sites but ideally on the same technical platform. Access to the current web site will be available for serious contenders. A fixed price has been proposed but could consider hourly.
