MIDlets for java based GSM modules like the Nokia 12, Siemens TC45 and TC65 are called IMlets. They are also based on the J2ME platform. We need to have an IMlet, which was specifically written for the TC45, ported to its successor the TC65. Because of changes in the api of the TC65 the original IMlet doesnot work on the TC65.
The IMlet gets GPS data from a GPS receiver connected through a serial cable.
