Nature of business: Financial Website
Content will be provided.
Web designer will be expected to deliver creativity for a financial website. The general description of the site's "image" will be provided to designer. Designer must be able to deliver the "image" the company wants to portray. Example websites will be provided for guidance.
Site will include pages: Home, Trading Strategies, Historical Performance, About Us, Affiliated Brokers, Contact Us. Other pages may be added. Pages may have links to direct site visitor to another page.
Flash presentations will be used.
Excel spreadsheets and graphs will be included. Designer must have experience in implementing these to pages.
Contact Us page will provide an emailing format that site visitors can directly email company from the page (i.e will not pull up Outlook to send email).
"Registration" by site visitor may be used for certain parts of the site to protect site information and also to capture visitors' personal information (i.e. name, email address). This information should be simultaneously directed to site owners (i.e via email) for record. Registration will provide visitor with a username and password to access the protected information. Registration should be "verified" by sending a temporary username and password to the visitor's valid email address for verification before allowing them to access the protected information.
Site may include Agreements that visitor must read and choose "I Agree" before allowing them to continue to desired pages.
Company logo will be needed. Designer should have extensive experience and creativity in graphic design in order to present the "image" the company wants to portray.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
