Estate Agent Website withPHP MySQL CMS

The site I need coding is for an estate agent who wishes to provide details of his properties on a website. I have drawn the graphics in photoshop (attached jpegs), with clearly defined areas for each element, which should give a good idea of how each section needs laying out. My client requires the ability to enter a password protected admin area where he can upload images and enter text descriptions for each property. These will then be fully searchable by field in a search engine. There will be a number of basic pages for company information which form the top navigation. These should be editable in a HTML editor inside Explorer, and the ability to add new catagories and pages must be available from the admin panel. On each of the Country index pages, there is another tear of navigation (listed as "area", "weather", Location & maps" etc.) these pages should be fully editable through the CMS. It should be noted at all times, that my client has VERY basic computer skills, and the design should reflect this simplicity at the admin side. Server access details will be provided, and the site must be installed and working correctly. Once completed, I will require full rights and ownership of the site and any part of the the code to be used without limitation, with no copyright being retained by the developer. I would like to speak to the successful developer prior to the job starting, to clarify all details so a good degree of English vocabulary is required. The deadline is very short, as the client needs the site to be live by 14th OCtober at the latest. I would like to run through the first draft with him by 7th October. ## Deliverables General features: - Must fit with Photoshop design provided - PHP SQL - compatible with all major browsers - instalation script - wizard that verifies permissions - support for multiple languages - Ability to add property pages with support for multiple pictures which can be changed by clicking buttons below the main image - all php code should contain comments - ability to search entire catalogue to find by price, no. of rooms, age of property, and other attributes - Google map of location on each product page Admin panel: - view / edit templates - edit index page - add pages to the company information top navigation (such as company profile, contact page etc.) using an html editor and modify pages order in navigation menu - view / edit all the static pages - view / manage listings - single user control required only - collect email addresses from a newsletter area, and them create / send newsletter (html editor) - add categories: The categories will be various countries - eg. Create "Costa Brava" category will make a page that will be listed under the country/region area of the navigation menu and link to a main "Costa Brava" page that wil be full customisable following a layout which will be provided. Main image at the top, then a second tier of navigation which is displayed on the image titled "country page" (listed as "area", "weather", Location & maps" etc.) These titles and page content should be editable through the CMS. Below this is product search engine of all the properties available in Costa Brava from the catalogue which will then open a results page with the users selections. - customizable: attributes and attributes groups: Ex: attributes groups: Exterior, Interior attributes: Bedrooms , Year Built - attributes selector will be choosable based on values and will be either: text, drop down menu, checkbox, radio-button - an "any" option must be available such as number of bedrooms "any" to return all results - extra options for each product: make product a featured product which will appear randomly with other featured products on the homepage, priority ranking, coloured border which can be activated around the product in the search/browse page, add a sold icon to the product, activate/deactivate product. - backup of database and pictures, - create images thumbs from uploaded images with GD, Image Magic, or do not create thumbs (detect if GD or Image Magic is installed) - modify meta description and keywords - all parts of the page will be written using a function Ex: show_login() of show_advanced_search(), so the main page could be easy coustomized using a template file (also the template file can be modified from interface) - modify number of listings on a page, currency, thumbnail dimmensions, language - password recovery - user instructions for the admin section must be provided public view: - quick search and advanced search - subscribe to newsletter - mortgage calculator on one of the static pages - tell a friend, printer friendly page, view ad map in new window, bookmark page in IE/Firefox All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S./UK Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform I have hosting with MySQL, PHP, and will open an FTP area for uploading. The site must run on Internet Explorer 3+, but i'm willing to go to a later version if it brings more functionality. Firefox and Safari should display correctly too.
