Conversion to Mobo & “ePub 3 fixed layout”
Please be honest and do not waste your and my time - I have had contact to more than 15 different individuals and companies, who say they can convert files to ePub; but none of them has so far been successful - so if you do not have the necessary knowledge, tell it immediately…
Perhaps you can try to make a demo based on the files I've linked to further down in my message?
Make a prize for me, on a 6-8 pages demo, I'm excited!
I seek someone who knows everything about - or almost everything about converting PDF or InDesign to “ePub 3 fixed layout” including adding “voice over” (audio) into the ePub file.
I have already finished layouts for five children's books, (48 pages inclusive front and back cover) which I want converted to ePub 3 fixed files (and the next five are in the "studio" now). The layout is with full-coverage illustrations on all pages and with text in the top layer. Moreover, there must be placed voiceover in too if it is possible, I also want the text to change color as the reading progresses (just like in a karaoke video).
Layout files are created in InDesign in 2017 - and is also available as PDF files. Voiceover is ".wav files".
In the future, I must have made much of this type of work, so I hope, I can find someone who is faithful and have the skills. Price and delivery time by appointment. Looking forward to hearing what you can offer and at what price…
Below, I will try to explain the situation:
We are a relatively new company that produces children's books!
Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to convert our InDesign files to usable epub files!
Here is a link to our first book "Dalmatians - Puppies in Trouble":

The format we have chosen is 8 x 10 inches as it is a reasonable standard if we later decide to publish them as printed books.
It is important that we learn to make these ePub files, as our hope is to publish all future titles in all the "big" languages. Therefore, of course, I also prefer that we can do everything from InDesign, so there are not too many workflows whenever a new language is to be added to the library; but I think it's not possible.
As my partner and I live far apart, I've made a very simple site [login to view URL] where I can upload "flipbooks”, so he can see how the books look.
You can download the audiobook to the above title here:
[login to view URL] - perhaps you have seen similar books where the text changes color as the reading (a la karaoke), and it would then be totally cool - if we can learn this too?
There are two things I want to request - an offer on ePub files, if you will convert the first five books for us including the integration of the audio to the books. If it is too complicated to make the color change in the text we will drop this, we have still made a little jingle when the child must turn the page.
I've probably forgotten something; but do not hesitate to ask, and I will respond as soon as possible.
If our skills are not enough to learn it, I would like a fair price from you on future titles ...
