Nodejs get AWS spot pricing (rethinkdb)

I need a way to query a service to by instance type and get back array of current spot prices for each of the locations in AWS [login to view URL] reply with json array of prices in each zone within a region each time there is a request for price we will store in to a local database (rethinkdb) then i have another way to query it by request [login to view URL] which will dump out a lot of json - the number at the end is the number of records we want to select and return as json. so we have something like [login to view URL] [login to view URL] You will get a ubuntu machine to install node and rethinkdb on. Please also know we need the service running all the time, you can use PM2 or forever to keep it running.
