Configure a Openvpn client-server (WIndows)

I need some help to configure OpenVpn. (Client-server connection) The thing is: - The server is a windows xp computer. - The client is windows 7 - I have a basic configuration. I got it following this tutorial: [login to view URL] - The client is able to connect to the server and send / receive pings etc... What do I need? - The problem is that the client shows its real IP address after connecting, and what I need is to route all the traffic over the vpn, so the client’s real IP would be hidden. No matter what protocol, (http, https, ftp, torrent... all the protocols) I have read that in order to do this you need to add to the server this line: push "redirect-gateway def1 bypass-dhcp" When I do that, the client can't even load pages. (I got a connection timeout message). I think that the problem could be related with dns... perhaps I would need to install dnsmasq in the server... but i'm really not sure because it's the first time I try to configure an Openvpn client-server connection. - So what we will do is: talk via Skype or Gtalk and use Team viewer to remote both client and server computer to do the configurations needed. - Check and confirm that every single protocol is routed over the vpn server (same as any comercial vpn)
