Frontend Application with SQL DB interface that generates barcode labels

SUMMARY We require a Frontend Application to be created that interfaces with an existing SQL database - entering and retrieving data - and then produces a three line label including a barcode for printing to a label printer. The frontend application also needs to create an Excel export of all information entered into the SQL database for the current job. The SQL Database is already setup - tables and stored procedures have been created - so this project is only concerned with getting the Frontend Application developed. The Frontend Application will consist of a Main Application Window, a Settings Options Window and a Admin Menu Window - See attached images - but will also need to include approximately 14 popup warning/validation message windows. REQUIREMENTS The Frontend Application must be able to create barcodes from a unique number/string supplied by the SQL database using barcode font 'Code 128' or '3 of 9' - see attached image of the required label format. The Frontend Application should be written in Microsoft Visual Studio - preferably Visual Basic - however other programming languages will be considered but must be agreed to before work commences. The Frontend Application is to be a standalone application with all required runtime files included. The Frontend Application should be able to be easily copied to any Windows 7 computer (32bit and 64bit) and run by double clicking its exe file. All source code is to be supplied and remain the property of the Employer. All source code should include comments in English where practical and not be encrypted. The Frontend Application will need to call 6 stored procedures in the SQL database to control the data going into and coming out of the database.
