Please read this project outline carefully before bidding, 2 people have wasted over 24 hours each trying to do this. Its not difficult but they just didnt have the competency.
We have a project which is based upon DotNetNuke 6.0 and we require someone to add some functionality to the Superfish menu which comes with DotNetNuke. Superfish is a jquery plugin, it writes some HTML to the page after it has loaded and does some pretty cool tricks with the CSS once the page has loaded. The files that we will be expecting to receive to put onto our site are [login to view URL] and Superfish.css.
Superfish by default is a 3 level menu and when you hover over one of the menu items its chilren show up and if you hover over that the next one shows up and so on. We need it so that when you hover over a top menu item it will show the menu 4 levels deep in one go. I managed to get this going to a degree, when you hover over the main menu the superfish plugin writes some HTMl on the page to show the next level, so I created new functions to show the next 2 levels. It worked ok but each UL reuses the same CSS class which has some margins / padding so each new menu list seems to show up a little to the right.
Essentially we want a menu which looks similar to [login to view URL] but is working in DNN with the superfish plugin.
I am available to offer some advice and support as its on a custom skin that I have build so there is alot of my own CSS in there 2. We have a random DNN hosting server set up and you can have access to FTP files etc up but in an ideal world you would have DNN on a local machine and would do all the development there and can just send me screen shots.
If you can use team viewer I can show you the product server where the site is located and we can do a quick walk through.
You can download dotnetnuke for free. Open it up in Visual studio, the files you need will be under \Portals\_default\Skins\Superfish
Were not really kidding around with the project, we realise that its only about 4 hours work for a real jquery/css whiz but were still happy to pay between $250-$500 to get it done as you may not have much DotNetNuke experience so we will need to do little bits together.
You can see the DNN install I am playing with here [login to view URL]
Please make sure if you Bid X Days that its a worst case scenario for completing the project, we cant afford for it to go overtime.
