We are a manufacturer of High Speed slow motion cameras, check out a o s . c h Currently our cameras are controlled via a Windows application on desktop computers. Our latest camera development features a Wifi connection why we want to develop a mobile app to control the camera. The camera complies with the GigE Vision communication standard (Standard specification is available). Unfortunately there is no Android/iOS SDK for GigE Vision. There is an open source glib/gobject based library available here: [login to view URL] In this project the Aravis library should be packed into an Android app. The app should only execute a GigE Vision discovery and display the available cameras. No further functionality is required in this first step. Another project will then be posted to finish the app. For development a real camera is available through VPN connection. The app should be developed in Xamarin or React native for easy maintenance on Android and iOS.
