We need talented Online Advertising Salespeople to sell advertising space on a well-established publishing network of 50+ websites. Our major categories are: Travel & Tourism, Gourmet & Specialty Foods, Wine & Wine Making, Books & Literature. We have three additional projects focused on book marketing, crowdfunding, and local news media.
There are no specific requirements for location, number of hours worked, or categories, but we do request a professional approach to the job.
Primary Responsibilities:
While we supply a few warm leads and some lists, you will conduct your own research for prospects. Then present the advertising possibilities we offer, negotiate, and close the sale. Post-sale activities include providing superior customer service for clients.
Skills Required:
* Good negotiation and relationship-sales skills
* Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
* Neutral or pleasant accent, with a courteous manner.
* Preferably US based or able to work in US time zones.
* Solid understanding of online advertising and marketing, including pricing structures.
* Able to communicate with the office by Skype or similar service

* Ability to work independently
* Preference for a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
* Ability to think analytically, set priorities and meet deadlines
Salary: For a trial period, compensation will be commission based. Payable by Paypal.
Subsequently, there will be a negotiated salary plus commission.
Potential: We intend that one or more salespersons will become sales or division managers and help us grow our business even faster.
