Hi, I don't think it will be possible to achieve what you need. Even if one start with a net-install or even card, installation size will easy be bigger than 100 MB. Have you considered to use DSL, or another alike distro, with a smaller footprint? If debian/ubuntu is mandatory, I think that is totally a waste of time... It can be possible by fully customizing the kernel removing the uneed drivers/features and using only the necessary libs to support the apps/langs (apache,php5... ) ..etc.. but this will be totally unsupported , and way to expensive..and a LOT of work to do. Let me suggest you to try bouty source, it's made for open source software maybe with will be a better shot. Best, Joao Paredes

I understand that you need a server that is very small yet versatile for hosting a web server platform. I would suggest that you use DSL (Damn Small Linux) paired with XAMPP as the two are very well compatible and will both save you some space. DSL comes as a 50MB package and XAMPP will run you at about 130MB or so, so it would bring you around the 200MB+ limit but that is the maximum. Even the smallest of Ubuntu servers will keep you at around 600Mb to 1Gb of space usage. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Thank You, Jeramiah Sawyer
