I have a Raspberry Pi 3 which is running Ubuntu Mate. I have managed to hide/blank out the boot view of the Raspberry Pi and the Ubuntu Mate splash screen, but I need a custom logo and modal/loading gif while it is booting up. I also need to device to boot directly into Firefox without going to the desktop first. I have currently done this using Startup Applications, but the unit displays the desktop when it first boots up. I need it to boot from the custom splash straight into Firefox without going into the desktop first. It needs to look like the Pi boots directly into the web application that I am busy building. I am also going to use Kiosk Mode in Firefox once the unit is booted. This is the start of a big project that is going to use a webcam and web interface inside of the browser. If we work well together on this small part of the project, I will hire you for the rest of the project too.

i have very good experience with raspberry pi either 2 or 3. i have build many apps and use them in many projects. also i am using raspberry in my home to control the lights and doors and do some stuff. i use many programming languages for programming raspberry. also i ahve great experience with linux in common. i think what you need is doable but need some work so i wish to work here in that project. thanks for reading my proposal
