PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: You will not be contacted if it is obvious that you didn't read this description. <respect> We are looking for someone that understands basic database concepts and enjoys working unsupervised. This is probably you if you love MS Excel but wish it could do more. All work is done online in a platform that requires no coding. (REST API and other programming skills are a bonus) A client will ask us to build or fix things in their database as it is needed. This job is suitable for anyone that is interested in this type of work and is prepared to spend the time getting to know the platform. Training is provided and your work load will increase as you get better at understanding clients needs and how the platform works. We will be looking for people that can demonstrate a clear interest. We are also looking for API developers and a preference will be given if you understand API functions. (This is nice but NOT required) To get a better idea of the work involved, log into the database platform below and start a free trial. It will give you 2 weeks access which is plenty of time to see if you can enjoy this type of work. You can select one of the templates or start your own. These database templates are exactly the same as the databases you will be working on but client databases are more elaborate. Hello, I am keen on applying for the position. I had coding experience but obsolete. That was the time when the internet was still not a fad. I'm talking about DOS-based applications and all. I was an in-house programmer for 13 years. I have participated in online schooling and learned a bit of HTML, CSS, Javascript and Ruby. Once again, I find it fun and very fulfilling. But wish I can work on real-life teams doing applications.
