Rebranding of JUTE website and all its programs

Rebranding brief for Freelancer We are rebranding our theatre website, and all our collateral. We are rebranding the programs we develop and present. We want to be bold, dynamic, professional, refreshing, challenging, vibrant, liberating, educational, diverse, engaging, community-minded and intriguing. And we want everything about us to say this. We are a powerhouse of ideas; we present innovative, exhilarating, creative, educational, and development programs, and theatre productions. We are unapologetically bold and proud of what we produce. We need our website images to show this, which is why we are looking for a designer who can also give us logos as well as images for each of our brands and who can help us achieve a knock-em-dead look and feel for the website. The website is large. We have someone who is skilled at building it, but we need to have the pages, words and images ready so they can start the build at the end of October. These are our programs and what we need: Enter Stage Write - for script development; for bringing outside people in to rework partial scripts; for people to pitch their scripts to be reworked with the help of a dramaturg. This needs to visually say: ‘exciting, new opportunities to hone your craft.’. New Works Department - to pull a script into shape, workshop and present a teaser to a small audience. This needs a strong brand that visually says: ‘we develop you, and your work to the next level and beyond’. The Visitors Desk - a paid for space for visiting artists in which to work. This needs a brand that visually says: ‘we can give you tangible opportunities to further your script or development’. JUTE Junior - theatre workshops for 6-11 year old. This needs a brand that visually says: ‘we foster children’s creativity to find expression, develop the next generation, tap into the community and create emerging new artists’. JUTE Youth - theatre workshops for 12-18 year olds . This needs a brand that visually says: ‘bright and edgy – just like my creativity’. It could have a mosaic look. JUTE on-Line – a set of modules to get your story out of your head and onto paper. This needs to have a brand. A home banner that is 4000 x 1300 with our logo and the words "Unapologetically bold theatre into the next generation. This is JUTE." All our brands - Enter Stage Write, New Works Department, JUTE Junior, JUTE Youth, The Visitors Desk - need to sync in with our own JUTE brand. The JUTE Theatre Company brand: we are open to having a new logo for JUTE Theatre Company but believe once we have new imaging for the website and all our collateral, the logo will not look out of place, or perhaps something slightly different – a new shade of red, type of thing. This is at the heart of JUTE: it must always look vibrant, fresh and interesting. It must pique people's interest. It must engage and leave people wanting to explore more.
