Design and Code A Homepage

We are undertaking a site redesign. The the first phase of the project is having you design and code our homepage. This design and codeing for the home page to the specifications provided. If you successfully meet the delivery guidelines for the homepage test, you will be offered the site design work for the remainder of the site. Overview --------------------- We have assembled a collect of samples for you to work from, This should inform both design and coding. You will be provided sample templates, css and javascript. The code is directional and should not be used in your final product. Any html, css and javascript provided to you should be rewritten from scratch. If you copy-and-paste the code you will not be meeting the requirements for the project and you will not be paid. The "[login to view URL]" file reflects "style" of the home page. You will want to take your design from the rough outline here, this includes the navigation, hero area and feature text. There is no footer or other content in this page. A sample footer can be found in "[login to view URL]". Also, "[login to view URL]" reflects the template approach where each html fragment/object should be plug-n-play into the html shell. Templates --------------------- You will use a template driven approach. "[login to view URL]" provides some direction on this The page is the shell container and html objects are assembled via AngularJS. Technology --------------------- The site should only leverage html, css and JS. No PHP, Python, Java.... AngularJS 4.0 [login to view URL] Tachyons v4.7.0 [login to view URL] If you need to use a custom or JS file, please make sure they only exist because the design / functional elements could not be accomplished with the core libraries. Typopgraphy --------------------- Use Google fonts, though this might change to a different font service. Keep this in mind. Mobile/Responsive --------------------- Intrinsic to AngularJS and Tachyons is mobile and responsive design. Make sure you design utilizes and is fully responsive and mobile ready according to industry best practices and the frameworks above Coding styles --------------------- Clean, semantic markup. For example, see the direction from wc3 on headings [login to view URL] Organization --------------------- files should be organized in a logical, industry accepted best practice. You work product will be judged on the above requirements. There will be NO upfront milestones. You will be paid once 50% of the work is complete and the remaining 50% once the project has met ALL the requirements. All milestone payments will be judged in accordance with meeting the requirements. Just because you spent time delivering something does not mean you have delivered the work as described. Please provide reference sites you have developed in your bid. If you do not include reference sites that you have developed your bid will NOT be considered.
