There are five tasks in the project. All the five tasks must be done in separate worksheets of an excel file. Please complete one excel file containing the analysis. The solutions to the "Quiz" are to be used to make sure that you have done your project correctly. I have attached several files in the folder for project. You are required to complete five tasks which are in the file titled “Company Analysis Content”. In the first two tasks you will be learning about diversification. In the remaining tasks you will be analyzing the company IBM. The other word files are support files where you learn how to download data. In the file titled “Sample answers to Company analysis” I am providing you what I expect from you for the five tasks. For intrinsic value calculations you should download the information from Valueline (IDM latest [login to view URL]) which will look similar to Figure 13.2 on page 418 of textbook. Using the method described on pages 417-419 and 428 (Essentials of Investments 10th Edition, under heading “Combining P/E Analysis and the DDM’) compute the intrinsic value of your company.
