Hello, I am Theotis H. In brief, a semi-retired Systems Analyst with more than 25 years as an IT professional addressing IT challenges. As a problem solver, my broad experience includes application development, database administration/management, systems troubleshooting, data analysis, spreadsheet generation, word processing and project management. I possess an active security clearance and recently completed 12 years as a Federal
government contractor.
My 12 years of service at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) was as a database administrator where I distinguished myself in quality assurance (QA). This assignment as a member on the QA Team required me to verify the accuracy of all data loaded by people on the Loading Team. In this fast paced environment, accuracy and speed enabled us to provide critical litigation support for staff attorneys who were preparing for upcoming trials. Four of the twelve years highlighted my skills as the QA Team Leader for 11 technical staff people.
I have very good researching and writing skills. As a contractor to the Department of Defense (DOD) Health Affairs, my primary task was database application development in 1992. From 1992 to 1998, I wrote the system documentation for the database tracking system, user manuals and provided quarterly reports to management. In 1995, I drafted the Request
for Proposal (RFP) for the recompete of the Military's automated case management system for the healthcare of soldiers.
