Assalam O Alaikum Brother! I am an experienced Excel expert having expertise in smart solution design. I can provide solution for this problem as per your requirements. I have read your instructions and checked excel spreadsheet but the brief is slightly confusing. According to my understanding, you need a formula or macro which will check each row in column "A" and if it's content matches to certain alphabet like for example, if cell "A1" has "A" in it then the cell "A2" in the next row will show 11 and eventually for doing this, the existing data on the in cell "A2" and the other cells needs to move down. Similarly, if "A2" which now becomes cells "A3" contains "B" then cell "A4" should show "12". Is that correct? If it is then this can only be done via macro because it will not about showing the value but the content would need shifting one row below to create empty cell for the answer. If the result is required in a separate column like for cell "A1" the answer is required in cell "B1" then this can be easily done via formula/function.
