Enclosure conversion plastic to metal for Hodac D.

Cryoscope cabinet top in metal We have a cabinet top for a Cryoscope made in plastic (ABS) which we are having issues with when the weather is cold – it cracks when shipped. We need to have a set of drawings made for a metal top, but in the same design and so it fits the existing system bottom. Attached are some drawings with measurements – NOTE ALL MEASUREMENTS ARE INSIDE MEASUREMENTS!!! There will be some changes since some things are easier to make in plastic. A. We need a new design for an air-filter “holder/box”. The air-filter must be able to be replaced from the outside without use of tools. B. The side air outlets – right now we glue in a metal grid on 2 of them and a filter on the third. In this metal version it should be stamped out holes with a max diameter of maximum 6.5mm – as close together as possible for maximum air-flow. Also the layout of the holes should follow the existing design/curves C. Since the metal cabinet will be made of thinner material, there should be made provision form something which make the cabinet more stiff/stable, but without interfering in the instruments operation or add too much extra weight. D. We do not have the overlay cutout large radius. Will provide a scan of the overlay with measurements.
