Slope stability analysis on Lawrence Vale landslide. should include : A written introduction to Phase III of the project An introduction to Lawrence Vale landslide in Launceston supplemented by civil drawing, topographic map, and aerial photography A geotechnical model to be developed following MRT's and others' investigation of the stratigraphy, groundwater conditions and material strength on the landslide and surrounding areas An analytical estimation of factor of safety using Bishop's simplified method Probabilistic and sensitive limit equilibrium analyses conducted for key material and environmental parameters such as material strength, friction angle and groundwater Design appropriate support system to reinforce the slope with a minimum factor of safety 1.5 using back analysis Finite element analysis with shear strength reduction
