Hi, I hope you are doing well and enjoying digital design. I believe implementing a design right form modeling until verifying it on an FPGA is always a very special experience. Throughout my 2+ years of experience in the field, I had the joy of designing and implementing a part of LTE's physical layer right from the Matlab model, through RTL coding, simulations, and back-end stages. I also built many other designs such as a MIPS processor design, Can satellite, and a UART transmitter and receiver. All my designs were verified successfully on either Xilinx's Spartan S6, S3, or Altera's Cyclone V FPGA. This project sounds really interesting. I have SoCrates CycloneV SoC boad and expereince in cyclone 5 family and Quartus/Qsys tools. Similar interface just diffeent pins. I can help you in configuring the board and software.

Hi! recently I've already completed complex project for DE10-Nano, with both HPS and FPGA parts. It was hardware accelerator for specific calculations which can be accessed from Linux. Mentioned project utilized DMA + Interrupt data exchange between FPGA part and Linux Kernel memory. For such functionality the custom driver have been written. FPGA part were configured from U-BOOT. Also I've compiled for this project custom Linux kernel with Angstrom rootfs.
