I am Ms. Maricris M. Perez, an experienced counselor and a registered teacher for secondary education with both a degree in BS Psychology and a candidacy for Master of Arts in Guidance and Counseling in the University of Santo Tomas (thesis writing stage). I have worked as a guidance counselor at the Ateneo de Manila High School - as well as the co-moderator of a visual arts-oriented student organization in aforementioned school - for the past three and a half years, and also as a guidance counselor and a preschool teacher of Stonyhurst International School (currently Stonyhurst-Southville International School) in Batangas City, A.Y. 2006-07.

As a counselor and a psychology graduate not only am I familiar with the implications and complexities of the human nature, but I am also well-versed in describing and writing about them. I believe that the strength of my interpersonal-relations experience in my two previous jobs (detailing a high-pressure, intensive environment of students, teachers, parents, and similar clientele, and a corresponding mastery of both counseling theory and practice), my proficient degree of fluency as per the spoken and written English, as well as my teaching licensure and high capacity to learn will greatly aid and abet the team. Lastly, being a researcher, thesis- and publications/freelance writer, I am very well aware and conscious of time constraints, requirements, deadlines, and the etiquette of professionalism and originality – concepts which I very much abide by.
